The Best of Both Worlds Airship II permits simultaneous use of our 5.8 gig connection for both high level connection and the .1/LFE channel needed for the highest quality theatre. In this way, both 2-channel music and multi-channel theatre are supported simultaneously, meaning the REL owner can use their REL without having to adjust anything further to enjoy any form of music or theater. Their high-level input is designed to accept the stereo (two-channel) signals from the speaker terminals of your receiver, integrated amplifier, or power amplifier(s). This ensures that your subwoofer receives exactly the same signal as the main speakers, which means that the character of the bass from the main system is carried forward into our sub-bass system. Along with their extremely fast, natural-sounding PerfectFilter™ input circuits, the Airship II ensures you reap the benefits of REL’s superior system integration; RELs are known for their perfect, rich integration in which you cannot sonically locate the subwoofer’s location. For top theatre performance, REL have given the .1/LFE circuit its own dedicated wireless channel, which allows for the largest, most dynamic special effects in theatre to be properly replicated in all their glory. Airship II delivers 2 channels in parallel: one for music and theatre in hHigh-l Level (or low-level, which is increasingly needed for applications such as active wireless speakers and a second channel for .1/LFE in theatre use.
