View Specifications >> View User Manual >> View More Focal >> Features Exclusive Flax cone Exclusive TNF tweeter Speaker drivers developed and manufactured in France by Focal Very easy to install thanks to the Polyfix mounting system REFINED TREBLE Made by Focal in France, the Aluminum/Magnesium TNF tweeter with inverted dome delivers a clear and mellow treble. The surround linking the dome to its stand uses a memory foam material called Poron. It is directly derived from Focal’s famous Beryllium tweeter and reduces distortion by a third between 2000Hz and 3000Hz, the ear’s high-sensitivity range. To perfect the spatialisation and further improve the very low directionality of the inverted dome, a waveguide has been developed. Horizontally, the frequency response is within /- 0.5 dB, ensuring an incredibly stable soundstage. DESIGN AND FINISHES Available in a Black Satin finish, Aria SR 900 has a deep and timeless character. Supplied with the loudspeaker, the magnetic grille ensures an ideal, discreet integration into any living space. FLAX CONE Patented by Focal and made in their workshops, the Flax cone is a French flax fibre sandwich between two sheets of glass fibre. It ticks all the boxes for a high-fidelity cone: it is lightweight for good dynamics, rigid to support the bass and dampening to deliver a neutral and natural sound, without colouration. It also reproduces a rich midrange and is incredibly sharp at low frequencies.
