The elegantly crafted CNC-machined plinth illuminates with LEDs the beautiful Elvis logo. The heavy 1,7 kg glass platter ensures a zero-resonance design that effectively eliminates the shortcomings associated with plastic or lightweight steel alternatives. Complementing these improvements, purpose-selected turntable feet effectively isolate the turntable from ambient vibrations present in the vicinity of your hi-fi system. Speed Control, Motor and Drive The motor drives a belt system, connected to our special ABS glass fiber composite sub-platter. This sub-platter is mounted on an ultra-precise 0.001mm main bearing with a hardened steel axle and brass bushing. Where most alternative products may use unregulated DC motors with wide speed fluctuations, the T2 features our proven system of an electronically regulated, precisi- on-speed AC motor. The T2 also comes with electronic speed switching between 33 and 45 RPM. The result is a low-noise, stable drive system for the turntable. The Tonearm The Elvis Turntable features a straight 9” one-piece aluminium tonearm combined with a low-friction bearing for absolute accuracy in use. Besides the clean and stylish looks, the integrated headshell won‘t cause any additional vibrations either, and is a big improvement over other detachable, screwed-on or glued-on headshells! It also comes with our adjustable spring-based anti-skating mechanism that optimizes performance and extracts the utmost potential from your cartridge.
